At the Geniekids Life School

  • We do not split learning (or time) by subjects - rather we learn through projects - REAL LIFE projects - which are exciting, interesting, relevant and meaningful to the child.
  • Hence learning is not topic-wise - rather the topics flow naturally in and out of the projects. Topics are weaved into each other and flow naturally with the children interest. There are no limits to what a child learns and explores in a project. Learning is open ended.
  • We take frame work of curriculum only for reference not to FOLLOW it rigidly.
  • The child's unique personality gets developed not in a special class - but in a special way in all our classes.
  • We do not assess kids - they assess themselves, each other. We observe them, discuss our observations with them and work collectively towards development.
  • Exams, to us, are another way to learn - not to test or assess the child. Exams are for us to assess the projects and overall learning process of children. Children map their own progress, declare what they have learnt. They set Exams for themselves.
  • Parents are inclusive in the whole process - they are equal partner in learning of child - every parent is involved. Parents themselves are open to learning - about children and about learning. (Training ourselves (parents and facilitators) on a continuous basis is part of the process.
  • Parents do not complain  - they are equally responsible for the development of the child and the school. If anybody wants some change and enhancement in the school - he or she initiates it.

  • We have Happy, motivated and excited children.
  • We have involved parents and facilitators. We do not have any teachers! We are facilitators - all of us who are passionate to bring a change in the way we look at education and children.
