Manjunath Pasha
I have a passion for theatre, music and sports. It all started at the age of 9 or 10 years and continued till I landed up in a bank job. There was nothing to complain in the bank but I felt my passions were bottled up. So when the VRS scheme was announced I grabbed for it and since then I am pursuing my interests.
I attended a few workshops conducted by Padaki, Khalid Thyabji, B.Jayashree, The Script, Gopalkrishna and Gerard Bayle. I worked in the theatre groups Spandana and The Script for a year and a couple of years respectively. I worked in Non-formal schools and formal schools where I did theatre and other activities with children and teachers.
I am at present working with Palash where I go with my team of collegues to different Govt.and Unaided Pvt. schools and conduct various non-academic activities to the children theatre being one such activity. During summer and other vacations I hold on to conducting theatre or art workshop.
