It was great to see your FIRST formal PPT presentation on Holi'09 story. You were confident and sparkling. I liked the way you worked WHOLE day on presentation, collecting material and making it interesting with pictures.
Hi Asa - Happy to hear your fearfree thoughts. You have been a student who did not show your resistance - adjust to the situation and that is how you were doing your maths homework or test without any fuss. We knew you did not enjoy maths - but wanted to hear from your mouth. That is why in Home Schooling - We left Maths to you and today you said "I never liked Maths in school - But NOW I am ENJOYING maths. I can do maths whole night". You are excited - I can see joy on your face :).
We went for Bangalore Bird Race on Sunady 18th Jan,09. We had three kids in our group - Sireesh, Asawrai and Dhrupad. Kids enthu and excitement motivated me to forget about my tiredness. Sireesh (12yrs) - we met for the first time - he is very interested and know a lot about the bird s- we learnt a lot form him. Asawari too got completely into bird watching with teh such a sincere company of Sireesh. Dhruapad do not need any motivation in the nature - he was very HAPPY and enjoying. We statred at 6 in the morning and ended the day at 11 in the night. WOW - kids you motiveted ME.
We were thinking of going by 2AC – for more comfort. We got one seat among four of us in 3AC. Realize the importance of a full seat while travelling. In the night three and later ALL four of us slept in one seat – I was only thinking about how we take things comfort for granted – We are very few of the lucky in the world who have the luxury of comfort. We choose to travel by train to get all us get used to of discomfort. And this time it was really tough – but it was amazing how kids did not for a single moment complained about the space.

just read every word posted on your homeschooling website, the link to which you sent in the mail for viewing dhrupad's bday fotos. website looks very detailed and impressive. looks like asawari is having a lot of fun doing home school. what i liked the most were the mindmaps on gandhiji and also on a ship. great going!! i am simply amazed by how you folks share everyting being done with all. i am sure many people will benefit from your posts.

Hey asawari - Friday 21s nov was a special day for you and me. You took your FIRST yoga class with kids. And I was impressed the way you did the preparation for the class. You did the whole yoga story on your own - practiced with dhrupad at home. In the evening you asked "give me some tips - how should I involve kids". You even thought about - how many mats, which mats and how will you place them in class. You went 15minutes early in the class and had fruits with them.
